Aldo Scelli was born in 1959. He began his clarinet studies at the Corbeil-Essonnes Conservatory. In 1977, he entered the Ecole Normale de Musique in Paris in the class of Roland Simoncini (1st soloist of the Orchester National de France) where he obtained the Bachelor of Concert and Chamber Music. He is currently director of the Music School of Vitry-le-François (in Champagne) and professor of clarinet. He is a member of several chamber ensembles. His music is romantic, both tender and passionate.
